Christmas Updates, round robins, or whatever you want to call them seem to
be the thing these days, and while some people apparently disdain them, I
have to say I enjoy reading those sent to us. On the basis that many of
our friends have expressed particularly to me that they enjoy reading ours,
and with a view to reducing the amount of paper used in future years, we
plan to place them on the website from now on. Just for good measure, we've
also included all the updates from and including 2001, all of which are in
the same format. No guarantees that these pentameters will appear in all
